Melissa Rose, Editor-in-Chief of Newport Beach Days wants to have some fun. She didn’t want her publication to be “perfect” and “curated” (like Newport can often be mistaken for)… instead, she wanted real, sandy, and a lil’ loud — with a whole lot of character.

NBD aims to showcase both the neighbors we live next to and the more well-known faces, the small businesses we frequent, and the Newport spirit we embody as locals.

A 20-year local to Newport and a mom of four with a passion for fun and beach life, Melissa is well-versed at all things NB.

“Between skateboard lessons, school drop-offs, volunteering and date nights with my hubby, I love to experience the beauty of Newport through the eyes of those I love, who are all in different stages of life.”
