Kama Hagar believes Maui is the most magical place on earth. She feels qualified to say that because she grew up with a vagabond-lifestyle that alternated between being on the road around the world with her dadβs band and in the remote jungle in Haiku. Having had so many incredible experiences at such a young age, she developed an irreversible taste for quality paired with a mission to preserve culture and elevate consciousness.
Wherever I went, Maui came with her.
It led her to study from two lineages of Hawaiian healers on Maui, launch an eco-luxury skincare line infused with Hawaiian botanicals, and coach people on the principles of aloha and aloha mΔ (self-reflective love).
With a burning passion for Maui and its people, she launched Maui Makai as a way to introduce the world to the aloha spirit.
From yummy hole-in-the-wall restaurants to the most luxurious spas in town, Maui Makai is your go-to place for all things quality, culture and consciousness.
