From Dial-Up to Digital: The Story Behind the City Living Network

I’ve been obsessed with the Internet since the dial-up AOL days.

I found writing jobs on Craigslist, worked for startup companies, and got paid in experiences.

I trudged my way up the editorial ladder — from unpaid internships writing for anyone who would take me to editorial director of a national wellness magazine managing over 200 writers.

In the meantime I realized my passion for hyperlocal journalism and started a side blog called Laguna Beach Living that totally changed my life.

I love interviewing local business owners about how they built their brands, attending events, dining at fun new restaurants, and walking around town finding things I haven’t seen before.

It’s a dream come true to get to showcase my town through the eyes of a local — and share my experiences through a digital platform that I am 100% owner of.

That’s the reason I created the City Living Network.

We are a network of women across the country who are highlighting the best of our towns.

We’re all just one or two steps ahead of each other so we are a Network of support and accountability — and a lot of fun.

I’m all about enjoying life and loving what you do.

You spend most of your day working — so you might as well like it (and actually keep the money you earn).

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in creating in your own town, download our Media Kit HERE and schedule a free Strategy Call.

Let’s build something great for you — and your community.
